It’s back to school season so I’m joining the kids and doing some learning.
I’m earning badges on things like javascript, github, php and css over at Treehouse. So far I’ve found it to be an excellent way of learning some of the basics that I missed the first time round, particularly on the javascript front!
In June 2013 my colleagues and I launched the new, totally redesigned and rebuilt, IG website, which was many months in the making. Built on the Adobe CQ platform, I worked on the front end and used LESS for the first time, and also tinkered with some JSP behind the scenes. I built the “footer” and “link list” CQ components.
Today I created guidelines for CSS usage within my 10 person developer team. The focus was on performance and working as a team. Check out my CSS Guidelines.
Today I officially became a scrum master, as certified by the Scrum Alliance, as shown in this incredibly well composed picture!
